Marker Keywords not working

PostThu Sep 23, 2021 12:47 am

Set a keyword in the marker window with a duration. Called it "test1" I then went and created a smartbin and selected "marker keywords" and typed in "test1" and I got nothing. Tried list view as well. Using v17.3. Is there any other way to pull up clips with marker keywords, such as just by a search?

Was it a marker on a media clip or a timeline clip?

The former is covered in smart bins. The latter is covered in the Edit Index.

For Smart Bins to find Marker Keywords markers must be added to clips in the Media Pool. If you add a marker to a timeline clip, then it is unique to the clip on the timeline and is NOT reflected in the Media Pool and therefore can not be found by the Smart Bin.
