Lenovo ideapad using this chipset:

Resolve requires a discrete GPU.

4gb Vram for 1080p
6gb for 4k.

That's not technically true

Integrated GPU or discrete GPU with at least 2GB of VRAM
GPU which supports OpenCL 1.2 or CUDA 11

That's the only requirement I can find . IIRC AMD limits ram for its IGPUs to 1GB unless you go into the bios and change it. I think.

Now I wouldn't claim it'll be fun or useful but simple stuff can be done on an Intel IGPU. AMD might be similar. Not my first choice. Not my second choice but in these days of the great GPU famine somebody might need to.

Hi.

Resolve do all its image processing in FP32 on the GPU on the graphics card. Higher FP32 CUDA/OpenCL Performance is better.

The AMD Ryzen 5 5500U have 6 Core / 12 Thread Zen 2 cores and a very low end AMD Radeon RX Vega 7 iGPU. Its total TDP is only 15 Watts.

From: https://laptopsreviewer.com/product/amd-ryzen-5-5500u/

The AMD Radeon RX Vega 7 iGPU have a very low OpenCL performance and are not recommended for Resolve.

Regards Carsten.
