I have a slide show at the end of my video and I want to dynamic zoom the photos, but keep the size of the photos the same. If I add dynamic zoom, the photo size changes, but I need to keep the edges fixed because I have a fancy background behind them.

Can I do it without fusion? I was thinking maybe I need a mask or something?

Here's how my timeline looks

Select all the photos in the timeline, right click and select New Compound Clip. Select the compound clip, go to the inspector and adjust the crop values or use the crop tool in the viewer to crop the edges.

Thanks but there are two problems with this

1. All the photos are different sizes
2. An ugly black bar appears after creating the compound clip:

Try this one: just add a transform Open FX to each picture

Could you elaborate? I dragged Transform from the Effects library and the dynamic zoom is changing the size of the picture still. Confused.

Change the scaling of the picture to Fit or Crop from the inspector and try again.
