Consistent crash during render

So a really simple project with text fades and a bit of fusion animation. 6mins 41 secs long. Deadline tomorrow and I can't render more than a varied 20% to 90% each time. This is about 30th attempt. Done all the tick box uncheck things. Is this common in Resolve? Does it only really work on extreme high spec machines? I use an iMac this year model with 32Gb ram and nice ssd thunderbolt 3 drive. Is this not anywhere near what is needed?

Curious as this seems to be a problem for others.

Moved to Resolve forum.
Based on the limited info.. clip types, effects, res, frame rate, codec to render etc.

Try rendering just the fusion clips to an intermediate format and place them back in the timeline.

Try rendering the whole timeline to an intermedia format.
