VFX Connect Unable To Create Fusion Folder...

So here's a new one in my ongoing humility every day. I have been creating VFX Connect clips and working between Fusion Studio and Resolve without a hitch for the past 7-10 days. Now this, in a new project. I have tried twice now to create a VFX Connect Clip. 50% through rendering, it stops, and this notice pops up:

Unable to create folder /Volumes/SSD Mirror/BMPCC
Footage/Bebop Blues
Scale/Compositions/81024bde-137e-485d-82f8-
2b6d94d735e0/fusion

Ideas?

Update, I had the CacheClips folder for that specific project on the same external SSD drive as the footage was on. VFX Connect gave me the same error in new projects when attempting to create the clip either in or out of the Cache folder. Once I trashed the cache folder, changed Project Settings back to the default C drive location, and tried again, it generated the VFX clip just fine. I was also getting erratic, bizarre "Media Offline" alerts before trashing the cache. Also, what took about 1-2 hours to cache before (literally) just finished in maybe 10-15 minutes. Bizarre
