Problem witch dpi and scaling after update to 17.4

Just updated to 17.4 and now have scaling problems with my laptop (Lenovo Extreme with 4k screen). Everything is oversized and a complete blurry mess. Haven't had any issues with scaling with any previous version of the 17 release. Is this likely to get fixed or should I look to downgrade back to 17.3 and reinstall? I've tried a few suggested options online but not getting anything looking crisp or a usable size anymore.

Only thing that you can do now is (every time) change windows screen resolution by going on SYSTEM...
