Unwanted markers added on media import

PostSun Oct 24, 2021 2:12 am

I am seeing unwanted markers added to every source clip on 17.4 when I bulk import files to the media page.

The marker is at the very first frame of every shot on all tracks.

Pretty sure this was not happening on 17.3.

Does not happen if I import one file at a time.

Anyone else?

Sony XAVC HD or UHD files.

1. Drag and drop on the Media page.

or

2. FILE>IMPORT MEDIA.

I'll upload some clips overnight and send U a link.

Peter,

Up to two files at a time import without the marker bug. 3 or more create a marker at the start of each shot.

thanks...

EDIT: It is not the files themselves but their associated XMLs that are causing the problem.
If I remove them the import process is fine.
This workaround was not needed in the previous version.
