DRS 17.4: Timelapse from images not working with JPG, PNG

I just upgraded from Resolve 17.3 to 17.4 and it seems that the timelapse from images only works on DNG RAW images. In all the tests I have tried, JPG and PNG always display the list of individual images instead of the HYPERLAPSE_[0001-0350].dng timelapse.

Anyone else seeing this? Seems like a bug.

In 17.4, jpg and png in automatic config mode are now seen as stills but u can set these to be a sequence.

Set the image type in Media Storage three dot menu before you drag to the media pool.
