PostWed Oct 27, 2021 5:45 pm

I am new to DaVinci
I would like to take an existing worship song video and add the lyrics along the bottom
The songs are prerecorded
is there an easy way to do this?
i haven't seen any full width, non-animated templates for this

There are many programs on the Internet that allow you to edit music and video. However, most of them will be paid.

Depends on how you define easy.

You can add titles in a lower third position. That process is pretty easy.

But it will probably take a lot of titles, so it can also be tedious and time consuming.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I think the best way to do this is to use subtitles. You can apply a track style to them so that it's easy to change the look of everything with simple adjustments, and you can choose to render the video with the subtitles burned into it or exported to a separate subtitle file for use with sharing sites like YouTube.

Here's a great video I found that describes how to use them:

DR Studio 18.6.4 Build 6, Win10Pro x64 22H2/19045.3570
Asus C246 Pro Motherboard, Xeon E-2278G@3.4GHz, 64GB ECC RAM
GeForce 3060 12GB, "Studio" driver 512.15
OS,Library: 1TB NVMe SSD - Project,Cache: 1TB NVMe SSD
