Sliding clip under playhead doesn't scrub clip in monitor?

In both Resolve 17.4 and 17.4.1, when you slide a clip under the playhead, it doesn't scrub in the monitor/viewer.

I'm quite certain it did this in previous versions...

Am I missing an option?

Just checked a machine with 17.2.1.

Clips definitely used to scrub under the play head when you moved them.

17.4.2 still has this issue.

There's been a bug reported multiple times since, I think, 17.4, where the playhead stops moving on certain systems after you go to full screen viewer and then back again.

Only workarounds listed so far are either to quit resolve, or else to Switch Project to another project, then back. Or if you can avoid using Full Screen, the bug shouldn't occur in the first place.

That sounds like a completely separate issue.

This happens to me regularly. Only appeared with the latest release.

Changing modes always fixes it. (Edit - Cut - Edit)
