Canon C70 LongGop - M1 Max Glitches

I am having a graphics glitch issue with the M1 Max Macbook on Resolve 17.4.2 Studio with the LongGop XF AVC UHD footage. In fact, even the in-camera proxies create these same glitches shown below.

It mostly happens near cuts, but not always. It also happens on export renders to a variety of codecs.

Does anybody have a good workaround for this? For now, I am rendering out on older intel computers so they export cleanly with the exact same hard drive and project files.

Can you post a sample to a transfer service?

A source clip, as it came out of the camera.

Here's a clip that gives me issues on M1 Max - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v6sWDy ... sp=sharing

No problem at all on my MacBook M1 Pro. No glitching, smooth playback, scrubbing. All in UHD too.
Clean renders. I'm on Monterey 12.0.1 and DR 17.4.2 build 9.

This is so weird. I have a Macbook Pro M1 13" and ever since I updated to 17.4.2 I cannot hardly play a thing. Not even at quarter resolution. Not even with no effects enabled. I can't even double click my clips from my media pool and watch them because it either just sits there with the play button enabled and nothing happens, or occasionally it gives me a frame here or there but it stutters horribly.

I don't understand what happened between this update and the previous one, but it makes editing almost impossible... and that's literally my job.

There is no 13” with the M1 Pro or Max chip. It’s either 14” or the more limited M1 chip.

I'm pretty sure I know what Macbook Pro I have.

I think what you're saying and maybe I misunderstood is the chip itself. I was talking about the M1 Macbook "PRO" 13 inch. not a 13 inch with an "M1 Pro"

Yes, that's why I put the 'Pro' behind the M1, as Apple does.
My Mac mini doesn't handle that either, same chip. You may need to think about an upgrade, as I did for my 'stopgap' Mac mini, which may act as a scope now.

I'm having the same issues. MBP 16" M1 Max. Anything new on this issue? My workaround (which isn't great) is to make ProRes 422 proxies and when rendering use those proxies for the render but that extra file size weight per project is growing. I realize I can delete those proxies but projects are stacking up and sometimes it take months to finalize a TV project. Only so much room in my NAS. Thanks!

That's strange, since my weaker model is handling the sample linked above flawlessly.
