issue with [source frame]

PostSat Nov 27, 2021 1:33 am

am I still drunk form thanksgiving, or something is wrong with teh burnin for the source frame?

I remember that it was showing the converted original timecode in frames for example:
source timecode: 1:25:44:02 --> frame: 123458 (in 24ffs)

that was the staple.... unless I'm completely drunk, I remember everyone using that.

now "source fames" is giving me teh frame count from the first frame of the clip that is useless for me.

is there a setting that I touched? should I RTFM?

I think it's always been that way, no?

The odd thing is, if you right click on the timecode field in the source (not record) viewer and select "source frame", you'll get the frame count which corresponds to the source timecode, not one that starts at zero. But do the same thing in the record viewer, and you're back to zero as the starting point.

Unless I'm also too hung-over to sort it out....

I'm pretty sure that was the timecode converted... and it is the one that we actually NEED in the burned in window.....
