Importing animation sequence doesnt work???

I am trying to import a series of .png animation frames to DR . according to the manual they will be loaded as a single clipå if they have the same name and are numbered but if you look at the below picture it's obvious that this is not correct. What am I missing here?

The default functionality changed recently... in the Media Page, click on the Media Storage panel's three dot option menu and choose Frame Display Mode > Sequence.
Any and all sequentially numbered images will now import as Image Sequences.
