Copy/Paste plugins without overwriting

I'm looking for a way to copy a single filter from one clip and pasting it onto another clip without overwriting the filters that already exist on the second clip. Think more of a merging of effects. Does anyone know if there's a way to do this or a workaround? Right now it's an all or nothing approach from what I can tell.

There is no way to append plugins as far as I know.

You can use the color page to add your plugins, you have more flexibility there compared to the edit page. You can copy a node with a plugin and append it to multiple clips.

however there are order of operations that require certain plugins to be put in the edit page....

Looks like I’ll add this as a feature request. Thanks for the replies.

Just asking : isn't it ok to paste it onto an adjustment clip ?

Hmm that's actually not a bad workaround. Thanks for the suggestion.
