I'm sure this has been asked already but when I search the information is spotty at best. What I would like to know is where to find the proper info for delivering a project graded in Blackmagic wide gamut/intermediate with a rec.2020 timeline to YouTube and have it display properly on apple devices.
My output looks the way I graded it on my PC in the edge browser, windows media player, vlc. When viewed on my Mac laptop, YouTube on the Mac and iOS devices (iPhone 13pro iPad Pro), the colours appear less saturated than they should be. Is there a method for converting the grade to appear better on those devices ?
My grading monitor is an Eizo ColorEdge CG277, (not an HDR screen) and all I want is to compress the gamut difference between it and whatever colours the apple devices can display.
