What does DJI use SRT files for? It's some kind of sidecar? The .srt extension is usually reserved for subtitle files, which are plaintext formatted in a specific way. I can't imagine the drone's generating captions, so there's probably a collision between whatever DJI uses it to do and the usual caption files Resolve expects. In short, blame DJI for picking an extension that was already widely used in video.

The DJI SRT files are just that, subtitles that show telemetry data.

I just tested it here (Air 2), and it's not a crash, it's just a very very slow, unoptimized single-threaded function.

Selecting the whole track of subs for 5 minutes of flight took 38 seconds here before Resolve allowed anything else. Watching task manager, 1 of my 32 threads was pegged at 100% until Resolve finished the task.

After selecting the subs, hitting delete pegged 1 thread for about 10 seconds before it deleted them.

Since DJI's subs are 1 sub per frame, it puts a serious strain on Resolve since apparently subtitle tasks are single-threaded, and that's a lot of subs!
