Black Screen When Using Fusion Composition

Hi, im new to this forum and ive only used davinci for a month now. Im trying to get jittery text on my project so I followed a tutorial and it calls for a fusion composition. However when i put it over my timeline it makes the screen black and I cant see what its under. In the tutorial this does not happen, and ive looked around but cant find anything. A response would be nice on how to resolve this issue. Thank you -Cowatude
