Editor Keyboard Umlauts ä ö ü stop working in Inspector

I use the Davinci Resolve Editor Keyboard with Davinci Resolve Studio.
with the latest update the Umlauts ä ö ü (alt-u a) stopped working in the inspector e.g. for entering a fusion+ title. They do work in the Resolves media page and other applications.

In Addition, when pressing a letter longer then "a second" a popupmenu should show the letter variants. Key repeat though is faster and throws a long line of the original letter, rendering this feature useless again.

Any ideas?

Restarting and changing keyboard setup did not help

Do they work in the regular keyboard?
Did you check the keyboard settings for the Editor Keyboard?

Don't have another keyboard attached, but they do work in other apps!

Would you give me a hint, where I find these Editor Keyboard specific settings?

Well, if they work in other programs, it's not the setting, which is global.
Maybe BM blocked them since some folks had difficulties with special characters in Fusion. I never use them other than for on-screen text.

Well I don't think its global as it does work in the Media and the Fusion page on top I can copy and paste these chars into the Edit page inspector window just fine.
