17.4.3 color page layout problem

PostMon Jan 24, 2022 2:40 am

I recently upgraded from a 2015 13" MBP to a new 16" MBP and was finally able to upgrade from DR 15 to 17. So disappointed to open the color page and get this non-adjustable 2-panel mess for the controls. The keyframe/scopes panel needlessly spans 2/3 of the screen, leaving room for only one adjustment panel. And because it's impossible to adjust panel sizes in any direction, I need to squint when making adjustments to the color wheels. Am I missing something? Is there some magic setting that will fix this? Did I need to use an earlier build? One of the primary reasons I upgraded my laptop was to use this software, and discovering this ugly, unfriendly UI is frustrating and disappointing. Please let it just be my ignorance. I tried searching the forum, but while I've found people with similar issues, I haven't found a solution. Here's a screenshot:

Another thing you can do to get more screen real estate in Resolve on a 16" MacBook Pro is to go to System Prefs -> Displays -> More Space (2056x1329). The graphics are tinier, but by god there's more information there.

Second that. You may need glasses, but it's all there.
I use an external screen anyway if not on the road.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

That did it! Thanks! And thanks for the responses from everyone else, too. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you all. I was expecting a notification and only noticed the replies when I hopped on here to solve another issue.

Be great!
