"GPU memory is full"

PostMon Jan 24, 2022 1:57 pm

Ever since I upgraded my PC with a new CPU and motherboard, Resolve has been crashing constantly saying the GPU memory is full. I didn't have this problem before. I've updated Nvidia to the latest drivers, switched to studio drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled Resolve, and nothing's worked.

Disable Intel UHD graphics in BIOS, make sure the monitor is connected to Nvidia instead of motherboard and definitely add more RAM.

The 1050Ti only has 4GB of VRAM. That should be OK for general HD work, but won't be hard to run out of VRAM if you are using timeline resolutions higher than HD.
