How to extend fusion composition

PostThu Jan 27, 2022 2:04 pm

Hello, Yet another fusion problem that I can't solve.

I created a fusion comp in time line. I made it 6sec long.
I copy pasted some nodes from other fusion comp into it . It is an intro 4sec long.
I wanted to add more animations to it .
I extended my fusion comp in timeline to 10s
I added more animations to my nodes.
When I play that animation in timeline it goes to black screen at 6sec.

I tried to create a new fusion comp that is 10sec long
Then i copy paste the nodes into it but the animation goes black exactly after 6s.

I also have have an old intro that is made in fusion tab that is 6sec long.
I wanted to play it for another 2sec as static so I extend my fusion comp and those 2sec are black black.

I have no idea how to deal with this.
I appreciate your help

Thank you .

You need to change the Global in/out durration in the fusion comp, INSIDE Fusion page.
And maybe change some keyframes if your animation requires it.

Perhaps you just need to extend certain nodes' duration in keyframe editor.

@MarvinBarre, look at the MediaIn (and any Background) nodes of the fusion comp, which is where you will find global in/out settings, and then the MediaOut node as well. You can also drag in the keyframe editor - see the last 3 postings on the link I provided above.
