Hi there,
on my system (win10), davinci resolve crashes on startup every time. it gets to the projects screen, then freezes and shortly after crashes. 16 worked like a charm for me so this is pretty frustrating. I tried to fix it with the methods below, but none of them worked:
-doing a clean install (after uninstalling Resolve 17 and then deleting the files in Appdata/Roaming, ProgramData and Program Files)
-setting the process priority for resolve to high
-setting compatibility mode to win 8
-running windows troubleshooting (which set the compatibility to win vista for some reason)
-updating my video card driver/changing my NVIDIA video card driver from Game-ready to Studio
The problem persisted with no changes whatsoever every time. an example log (created w. Capturelogs.bat) and my system info can be found here:

I'm at a loss here and don't know what else I can try or why this problem occurs in the first place. Any input or help is greatly appreciated!
