proxies from selected timeline clips

Is there a way to make proxies from selected clips in a timeline? Looks like you can only right click for optimized media. I know you can do it from the bins but not from the timeline it seems. Perhaps there is a way to gather the selected clips from a timeline into a bin then make proxies

You'll have to use one of the various sorting methods in the Media Pool. Keywords, flags, usage, etc.
