Davinci Resolve crashes on "edit" and "export" tabs, etc

Davinci resolve crashes on the "edit" and "export" tabs. It also renders/exports incompletely, losing frames, glitching and a red screen pops up "media not available" throughout the export. An ongoing issue that keeps getting worse.
Currently running on a Macbook Pro m1, 1TB storage, 16GB RAM.
Files are from Sony a7siii, XAVC S 4K, 60P, 200M 4:2:2 10bit. Editing on a 24fps timeline.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
