Need Tips: How to fix this bad voice (noisy)

PostSat May 21, 2022 11:47 am

Dear community,
I have a bad voice with noise and bad sound like 'bgg bgg bgg or whatever'.
I can eliminate the noise by using fairlight noise reduction or my izotope rx. But for bad sound ('bgg bgg bgg') i don't know how to eliminate it.
Anyone here has experience about it?
Thanks.
here is my audio voice :

I don't know what bad noise your talking about. The dialogue sounds clear.

Thanks Alex, the voice dialog sound like "bgg bgg" , like wind noise, but it's not wind noise.

Get a 30 day trial for iZotope RX Advanced and throw "Dialogue Isolate" at it. Miracle worker.

That sounds like rustling noise, the mic rubbing against something as she talks.

Only idea I have to get rid of that is re-record.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Thanks Cayubal, for now 'De Wind' tool from Izotope Rx is best.

Jim, is there any option except re-record?
You're right, that is like mic rubbing, or mic without pop filter.
For now, 'De wind' from izotope is best choice.

If there's any portion of the track where just the noise is present (no dialogue), you can use the "learning" feature of either Fairlight plugins or Izotope to isolate it (and reduce). A skilled audio editor might be able to use the editing tools in Izotope, but that's a tall order.

Otherwise, the dialogue isolate plugin is probably the best choice.

With any audio its a rule of thumb that almost every issue is a recording environment one.
Make sure your Air conditioner or fan is turned off next time you record, and make sure its in a busy environment (like messy room if you don't have the time to treat it properly)
These fixes will always be better and easier than any post solution you might have.
