Proxy Relink not working

Hi,

For some reason Davinci is not relinking Proxys correctly.

I got a pretty big project, everything is very clean and simple, Bins per camera per day. I need to switch from my PC to a macbook, I don't want to connect the original files I just want to connect the proxys to edit on my macbook.

when I try to do a relink pointing the search to the proxy folder Davinci connects most of the clips but some are connected to the wrong file. very weird. it makes no sense at all.
Names files are different and all the cameras are also very organize in folders on my system.

The most scary part is that is not leaving the clips offline is just connecting to the wrong files so I'm not sure what is right and what's wrong. I can tell that Davinci is not connecting properly because some clips length are different and it shows part of the clip with the red offline media.

any tips?

Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
I just try first to reconnect to the original files, in case it needs something first to connect to the proxys.

is this another bug?

the proxy path is correct but the file showing in the timeline is not the actual file.

yes all files have perfect timecode and I created the proxy with Davinci.

I read there is a problem in the way that Davinci check the proxy files when relinking. I just tried with a bunch of DJI footage and if I rename the file in finder with the correct extension .MP4 instead of .MOV then Davinci relinks the files correctly.
I'm not sure whats going to happen with the Braw > Mov extensions. since MP4 and MOV can both be h264 but I will give it a try and rename all proxy files.

You can tell DR to ignore extension when conforming.
