Any plans to support natively the M1 macs around the time of final version of v18?

I would say, it's up to Dolby with their DPK Processing, no?

Today v18beta6 adds support for
"Support for encoding Dolby Vision H.265 Profile 8.4 on Apple silicon."

That was quite fast.

Would be nicer if we had x265 as encoder, not GPU one. Still good to have of quick preview exports.

Peter, Dolby deleted that linked documentation, the new link is:
https://professionalsupport.dolby.com/s ... uage=en_US

Unfortunately they have also just deleted the text describing the option to use a connected Dolby Vision monitor to enable the encoding option, the requirements use to say:

"The Dolby Vision Mastering and Playback Annual License
or
Resolve Studio 18 installed on a Dolby Vision Windows PC (see Laptops enabled with Dolby)
or
A Windows based system supporting Resolve Studio 18 and directly connected to a Dolby Vision PC monitor
"

Previous thread: https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=159176

Kinda sleazy to delete the text rather than fix whatever problem they are having determining dolby vision status through media foundation.
