Install both version studio and free

I already use the studio version. Is there any reason against installing the free version as well on a windows system?

Yes, there is a reason not to do that. It's not supported.

If you share a project that use studio plugin to colleges they see a watermark on that clip and no more. If you use not supported codec (h264/5 at 10 bit) you not allowed to use also if you use free on your machine. I not see a big problem in this kind of sharing, for many reasons I share and moved prg between studio and free without big troubles.
