[18.0.1] Frequent crashes while scrubbing

Dear forum,

I'm experiencing frequent crashes with DaVinci Resolve Studio 18, both 18.0 and 18.0.1.

It mostly happens while scrubbing — both the timeline and the preview window. Linear playback seems to work comparatively fine.

I'm currently compiling a video montage out of longer videos in MP4 format with the codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1) (according to VLC).

I've been doing the same for years without issue in Resolve Studio 17.

I've tried deactivating all Fusion effects, all audio effects, have toggled hardware acceleration for H.264 on and off — I'm running out of ideas.

As this is severely impacting my workflow, as you can imagine, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Can you put your logs on dropbox or similar, with your NFO and place a link on the forum with a space in the path?
