Changing the preset of an existing title?

PostSun Aug 14, 2022 12:16 am

I'm working on a series of videos that I'd like to be stylistically consistent. I like putting my closing copyright title at lower right and have been using the "Right Lower Third" preset. Given its composition, the video I'm presently working on is crying out for the "Left Lower Third" preset. In my ideal world I could switch presets with a right click or two and it would essentially keep the title's contents and any choices I've made to Font attributes, Tracking, Spacing, etc. and simply mirror its placement.

I haven't figured out how to do this if it's possible. Appreciate any guidance, thank you.

Select the Right Lower Third, click on the Settings tab in the Inspector and change the Position X control until your Title is where you want it.

You can also adjust the Position X in the Title tab for both lines of text instead of the Settings method.
