Stabilization does not reset when in and out are changed

I changed In and OUT on a clip and noticed strange hop effect occurring when playing that clip. I realized that it hops on previous IN and OUT where stabilization was previously applied. Stabilization caused slight zoom in.

I resolved it by repeating stabilization on that clip.

I would expect that, if I change anything on clip that is significant to affect stabilization, it should be turned off automatically, or at least warn user that something is odd there. as this may not be obvious.

Is there option that can help or this could go to feature request?

There is a forum for Feature Requests.

viewforum.php?f=33

Best practice is to search first, to see if someone already asked. If not, post one idea per thread with a very brief description of the idea in the thread's title.

I found nothing but I am not sure if it is just something I do not know.

If a search of the Request section hasn't turned up what you're looking for, add a new Feature Request.

I've seen a LOT of ideas from that section get added to Resolve over the years.

What you are seeing is normal behaviour. You are seeing the unstabilised frames when you change the clip in/out points. This is common in quite a few apps.

Personally I do not want the effect disabled when I trim a frame or two!

I do not see it as normal. It ruins video and may go unnoticed.

Actually I posted feature request that any time when situation occurs that requires Stabilization to be rerun on clip, that should be visibly indicated on the clip. Some kind of warning should exist.
