18.0.3 Crashing, Unstable?

PostSun Sep 18, 2022 1:45 pm

Since upgrading to 18.0.3 I have experienced constant crashing - sometimes while doing nothing! Has anyone else been experiencing more crashes than usual?

I'm currently generating H.264 proxy from 137 GB (35 minute) .braw 12:1 file in Resolve with 4 of 8 hours to go and 4 cores engaged. (Wish it was a background process.)

All I have access to until that finishes are Crash Archive and ResolveDebug files, but the uploader doesn't allow .txt attachments.

Update: Proxy generation finally finished so I created the diagnostic logs. They were too large for the forum to accept. Looks like all creating logs from Resolve does is zip up ALL the files in the logs folder, so I deleted stuff that was too old to be relevant. Hopefully this provides the info needed.

Put the full logs zip on Dropbox and post a link here with a space in the path.

Yes, I'm having the same issue. I'll see if I can submit the logs too.

I am having the same exact issues.

I don't know how to get the logs. But I just unistalled and I am going back to the previous version.

Here are some videos I recorded with the issue. I know it's not much. I did send a report to blackmagic.
