Titles distorted after changing project to 9x16

After changing my project to 1080x1920 all of my title pack presets are getting warped/distorted. Thoughts on how to deal with this? I found a post with a recommendation to put titles presets in landscape and then create compound clips, but I'm not clear on how to accomplish this.

We do quite a bit in 9x16. Thoughts on how to manage presets? I have several packs and flipping the aspect ratio in project settings seems to break them all. Even the stock presets are all busted.

Here is the stock fusion title "Slide From Center Line". File attached. You can see this title is distorted as a result of being in portrait resolution ie 1080 x 1920 in project settings.

Next attachment is "Three Line Drop" also distorted 1080 x 1920. Looks normal in 1920 x 1080.
