Gaps Automaticly Filling

PostMon Sep 26, 2022 12:32 am

Whenever I delete any clips in resolve 18, it always fills the blank space. How do I turn this feature off?

Assuming you are in the edit page, you are in trim mode. select the arrow pointer mode on the toolbar.

If on the cut page, that's the standard operation.

I tried, and then deleted the clip that I wanted too, but when I deleted it, I was brought to the same problem. It is still automatically closing the gap.

Also, in the Edit page the Delete key will ripple the timeline removing the gap, using the Backspace key instead will not ripple the timeline.
