How to trim multiple clips at once?

I created another thread regarding an issue that I am having with my Panasonic DMC-FZ1000. The quick version is that when I press record the first half a second doesn't have any audio recorded to the video. Read more here = viewtopic.php?f=21&t=167863

The reason I am writing this is because I wanted to know if there is a way that I could trim every clip in my timeline by the same amount at once to remove the section without audio?

Also to note. I want to be able to do this without stacking all of the clips and doing it like that, I want to leave them in the order and position that they are currently in (also not leaving multiple blank spaces where the removed media was, I want them the snap back together, so it stays as a constant video, and I don't have to go back and remove every empty section).

It would also be good if I could select only certain clips to apply this cut to and not others, but I can work with just the first part if needed.

Here's a screenshot of the page in the manual describing what you want to do. Also, if you ever want to delete gaps, the command is the "Delete Gaps" option under the "Edit" drop-down menu; which can also be mapped to a short-cut key.
