Values display for Soft Clip missing

PostMon Sep 26, 2022 9:20 pm

The Soft Clip settings used to show values in past versions of Resolve. Unfortunately no values are shown anymore which makes it more difficult to reproduce certain settings. Please make Resolve show these values again. Thanks

No problem displaying them here. Never had a problem with them not showing. Have you tried a UI Reset?

Ok I found the problem. If the UI is in fullscreen mode running a secondary monitor the values are not displayed. They are only shown if I exit full screen and scale the Edit page window smaller. Please fix this Blackmagic. Thanks

I run dual HD screens, both of which are scaled to 100% and in Full Screen Window mode, and there is no problem showing the Soft Clip values. What scaling is your monitor set to?

What happens if you run it at its native 3840x2160?

Well, the Mac monitor preferences settings apparently "think" that the default setting for the CS2740 is 1920 x 1080. If I switch to that the Soft Clip settings are indeed shown in full screen mode. But this setting shows everything on the monitor way to big for me. Any other scaled setting will cause the Soft Clip settings not be displayed unfortunately.

Running Windows 10 / Resolve 18.1.1 and I'm having the same problem as OP. I can even "un-dock" the curves section and make that section very large but the values still never show up. I've also tried the suggestion above of resetting the UI with no luck. Does anyone have any advice or solutions?
