Gyro not working with my Sigma 17-50 lens

PostTue Sep 27, 2022 2:39 pm

I have switched off the lens stabilizer on the lens and I have all the latest software for Resolve and my 6k Pro but no gyro info coming from the lens. I have seen where other people, using Sigma lenses have been able to make them work but my 17-50 f2.8 lens is not.
Is my lens just not compatible or am I doing something wrong?
Works when I put a Canon 75-300 on.

Thx

In addition to disabling OIS on the lens, you also have to turn it off in the camera menu.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Is there a reason why the 6k Pro doesn't allow you to switch off lens stabilizing from the camera menu? (in addition to the lens switch)

I think it depends on the construction and control of MFT lenses.

Hi, I've also got this lens, and Gyro stabilization is not working, wether OS is turned on or off.
Did you already find a fix?
