Resolve Studio online purchase

I plan to buy DV Resolve Studio 18 after having worked with the free version for few years now.

I was surprised to see that it is now possible to buy Resolve Studio directly from BMD website whereas licenses were previously available exclusively through BMD retailers.
What about activation cards or dongles? Are they still sent to postal addresses? Are they replaced by activation keys that are only sent by email? Nothing sent to physical address?
