I want to do a mega-zoom out from a picture. Due the 16k limit I have two images to do the zoom. I aligned a 16k crop over the final image and made a compound clip. Unfortunately a compound clip removes the resolution of the containing clips so that didn't work.
Fusion is too alien to me and it also corrupted the project so I'm not touching that tab again...
Is there a way to zoom using the same proportions for differently sized images? I can never match the two images for a perfectly aligned zoom due difference in zoom speed and ease in-out behavior.
You can try the following but it will work only if you want to animate the zoom, it will not work if you want to animate both zoom and position:
1. Place the two images on top of each other and make sure they have the same duration 2. Go to the color page and connect the green dot on the left side with the blue input of the node (do this for both images) 3. Right click on the node tree, select "Add Alpha Output" and connect the node blue output with the blue dot on the right side (do this for both images) 4. Make the initial transformation/alignment on both images by adjusting the input sizing on the color page. 5. Go to the edit page and animate the zoom on one of the images. 6. Copy the image with the animation 7. Select the other image -> Paste attributes -> Zoom and apply
