If you downloaded 18.0.4 from the BMD support page you will have no worries about viruses. This is more like your antivirus just not liking something.

As my computer is used for the internet as well I use the built in Windows Defender. This equals no bloatware, no problems, and no viruses.

Where did you download Davinci Resolve from?

There is no Resolve 18.4. But in Resolve 18.0.4, another user had his Avast app also flag this daemon as malware, and that stopped his Micro panel from working.
This is a false detect. If anyone else has their AV app flag this file as bad, then be aware that none of your external Resolve panels are going to work.
If you don't have any external Resolve panels, then this is a don't care.
