How to clear in point without deleting clips?

Hi, when I use option+x to clear the in point on my timeline, it always deletes things in the timeline. My workaround is to set the in point to the right of all my clips and then press option+x.

How can I just delete it from anywhere and not lose clips?

Nothing should be deleted.

Check your shortcuts. Are they Default?

Agree with Jim, should not be deleting if you have your keyboard shortcuts set up default.

You can set the in point wherever you want it by hitting “i” though.
