You are kind of in unsupported territory there using a 5,1 MacPro with BigSur and multiple type of GPUs.

Are you using OpenCore to make that work?

I would suggest that in Resolve Preferences - System - Memory and GPU, you uncheck "GPU Selection - Auto" and in the GPU list, uncheck the Radeon VII that the 2 displays are connected to, leaving just the 2 WX9100 GPU's selected, save the preferences and restart Resolve and see if that works better.

Also curious how you have that many GPU's connected. Are you using a Cubix PCIe expansion chassis?

I'd consider a new machine. Even a Mac mini would leave that one in the dust.
Considering you are working with Arri footage, I'd say a Mac Studio would be fine.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

Except none of that comes close to a Radeon VII or dual WX9100...Best Apple Silicon GPU barely close to a 5700 or a 3060...

Haven't looked at the CPU, but gpu wise I wouldn't do that trade.

My 2 cents.

If it's not stable, you more loose more time to troubleshooting than your faster GPUs are earning you.
My machine is very stable.

so weird thing is that 18.0.1 is stable but with bugs, and 2-3-4 just crash on all the Macs I have, 5.1 or macpro2013 or macpro2019 I open project try to load vsr and quit immediately.

could you check the 2019 logs dwaine?

There are know issues with decoding Arriraw on multiple GPUs in Big Sur, Highly recommended to update to the current 12.6 Monterey.
