Copy effects from a bus?

PostTue Oct 04, 2022 5:59 pm

I'd like to copy the EQ from a bus and paste it on an individual track. I'm not finding a way to do this.

Is it currently possible?

DR 17 Studio
Mac, Windows, Linux - I use all of them.

In Resolve 17 access the Fairlight menu > Preset Library and save the Fairlight Equaliser setting for the source Bus to apply to any destination including Tracks.

Resolve 18 provides the option to right click the EQ module on the Bus in the Fairlight mixer to copy that setting to paste to a destination Track.

Alternatively, save the setting in the Fairlight EQ window and recall on the destination Track.

For third party plugins use the plugin's internal preset mechanism to apply settings.
