Fusion Deltakeyer dropper not working

Hi,
I have the latest version of Resolve Studio installed and am venturing in to the realms of Fusion. I have a little project which I wanted to try Deltakeyer on. I have read the relevant part of the manual and followed the guidance. I have a foreground clip, a background and, from the Edit page have created a Fusion clip. Moving to the Fusion tab I see my two media inputs and the media out. I have added a Deltakeyer node to the Foreground clip and, following the manual, chosen the eyedropper tool in the Inspector. When I move to the Foreground screen the cursor remains as an arrow and not an eyedropper. This is not as described in the manual (which by the way has a different layout to the Resolve 18 screen I am seeing). Am I doing something wrong?

Do you have the delta keyer node selected for view in one of the two windows (select delta keyer node and hit 1 on the keyboard to show it in the first window, etc.). I haven't tried this for a while so maybe I'm forgetting some thing like holding down the option (alt) key when picking, lol - sorry.

Yes, it makes no difference.

Tried it on my Mac - works as expected. Doesn't help but interesting to note. Maybe others on a PC will chime-in with their experience. Some additional info from you might help. For example, are you working in a color managed environment?

Click and drag eyedropper in Fusion Page / Delta Keyer is working as expected on my PC (which is running Resolve v17.4.3).

I am having the same problem where the eyedropper stops working on Deltakeyer.

If I double-click on the color swatch and use the "Pick Screen Color" button in the Color dialog, I am able to pick a single point.

for me, this is the key. I clicked on eyedropper tool and expected my mouse pointer to change to eyedropper icon but nothing happened. I click and dragged the eyedropper tool to my viewer and then it works as expected

Figured this one out finally. Drag the eyedropper.

ok. that was an insane waste of 30 minutes. so drag the dropper? yup that works. is this a bug or exciting new behavior to give you carpal tunnel.
