I just imported some footage from my Sony X70 camera that shoots HD 4:2:2 10-bit XAVC-L in an MXF wrapper and Resolve Studio 18.0.4 exhibits off behaviour where there is a first frame then about 1 second or more of 'media offline' and then the rest of the clip is fine. It's like it has an issue decoding the beginning of each clip. I've imported other clips from this camera with past versions of Resolve without any issues.
Note that there are 4 channels of audio on these clips (although only the first two are used) and the audio is 48kHz Linear PCM.
There are a couple of differences now, first the version of Resolve and second, I'm on a MacBook M1 Max for this test (with Ventura 13.0) so the issue could be more than just Resolve Studio 18.0.4.
I wasn't going to post this but then someone else noticed the same behaviour with mxf files generated by the external proxy generator here:

Update: Just tested this same media on my Windows machine (see signature) running Windows 11, Resolve Studio 18.0.4) and did not see this issue. Also, in preview on my MacBook, the hiccup does not occur. Something is going on with this footage in Resolve Studio on the MacBook. Looks like a bug to me.
