Rendering Magic Mask in multiple clips

PostThu Nov 10, 2022 10:29 pm

I have a bunch of clips from an interview and am using Magic mask to adjust clothing color. Works great. So, now I am applying the Magic Mask node settings from the adjusted clip to all the rest. My question is, do I have open each clip and track each of them individually, or is there to select all the clips and have it track them in one batch?

Thanks.

If you are using the new object mask and not the person mask:
1. Apply the magic mask on the first clip and track it.
2. Copy the grade to the other clips
3. Click the 3 dots menu on the magic mask panel -> Regenerate Object Mask -> All Clips.

This will re-track all the clips with magic mask on the timeline.

Hi... I've tried this in Studio 18, but I can't seem to copy the strokes to the new nodes, so that when I click on Regenerate Object Mask, nothing happens. No movement. I just stay on the first clip.

I've tried multiple times. I've created the strokes at the beginning of the first clip.
I'm using Object mask, not Person.

The other attributes of the color grade are copied.

It's just the strokes that I don't see copied, and thus, nothing regenerates.

Revision: In the stroke list on the other clips, I see the stroke *listed*. But I don't see the strokes on the video clip, and when I click regenerate selected clip nothing happens.

Thanks,

Peter
