Hello Forum,
I am currently trying to install Resolve 18.1.1 on a new PC running Windows 11. The installer only shows Fairlight Audio Accelerator Utility and Resolve 18.1.1. No ProstgreSQL.
After installation I tried to import my DB backup and got the following error:
Failed to restore database: Failed to create project
library: project library test already exists.
The error persists no matter what name I use.
After that I tried to create a new library and got the following error:
could not connect to server: Connection refused
(0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running
on host "127.0.0.1" and accepting TCP/IP
connections on port 5432? QPSQL: Unable to connect
Then I uninstalled Resolve and tried it with versions 18.0 and 18.1 (the DB backup was created with version 18.1 and works on the old PC).
I do not have a PostgreSQL folder under C:\Program Files. It just doesn't install and the Resolve installer doesn't show it.
What I also noticed is that the Resolve installer says "Windows 10 (x64)" even though I'm on Windows 11.
Is Resolve compatible with Windows 11 at all? In the release notes I only find this:
"Minimum system requirements for Windows:
Windows 10 Creators Update."
Did anyone have the same problem?
