No Audio Wave Forms Showing

Hey Guy,
I can not see any audio waveforms in the audio or edit windows of resolve. The same problem with audio files and audio in video tracks.

I've tried to select the show waveform tabs in both windows, but whatever I do no audio waveforms are showing.

Does anybody know how to solve this?

I'm using Davinci 18.1.1 build 7

14" Apple M1 Pro
16gig ram and Ventura. Same problem with Monteray

Are waveforms not available for all media formats or for a particular source format only?

What is the source format of the media?

Does manually trashing cache files (working folders path) and rebuilding reduce files show waveforms on the Timeline Clips?
