Fusion issue

PostThu Dec 08, 2022 4:07 pm

This is most likely 100% incompetence. I dabbled in fusion without a great deal of success trying to stabilise film scan jitters.

For some obscure reason, now back on the timeline page, then moving to render page, the render redraws the span of timeline to a single clip when the timeline is exported. No matter how many times one redraws the timeline to be exported, it jumps back to the single clip.

That dripping noise you might be hearing is the temper tantrum spittle falling off my chin.

Your terms are a bit confusing.

Have you completed any of the training yet?

Jim Simon.

I have been giving it a shot but I have never been a fast learner. As learning curves go, Resolve is huge. As the old saying declares, a little knowledge is dangerous. Baby steps. Thanks for responding.

Yes, learning the entire program would take a while.

But the Beginner's Guide can be done relatively quickly, and it covers a lot of the basics, including proper terminology. (That one is a tripping point for a lot of folks. Never read past a word you don't understand. Get it defined right away, don't try to guess from context.)

Jim Simon.

Yes. Paraphrasing terminology is one of my faults.

Strange as it may seem, turning off everything, going away for a while and turning it all on again after 30 minutes seems to have fixed whatever cruelty I had done to it. The practice clip plays back fine.
