Removing background music to avoid copyright

Hi,

When working with a video which has picked up background music from a radio, does anyone have a workflow or an approach to be able to remove this music?

I want to remove it to avoid copyright issues if using that video on Youtube for example.

I could mute the entire track, but there are sound and noises that are part of the main content that I don't want to lose.

Is the Fairlight AI in Resolve 18 able to help with that?

Regards
Jim

I'm excited to try out 18.1 to see what the new Voice Isolation can do (so please try that first if you can), but we've had good success with Izotope RX: https://www.izotope.com/en/shop/rx-10-advanced.html ...but it's very pricey. I don't know if the Standard or Elements editions would do what you need, but RX often feels like magic with what it's able to do for us. But, again, Resolve's Voice Isolation tool may do exactly what you need, for no additional cost.
